Nothing but rain clouds in the sky until the 21 golf teams of our third annual charity golf outing started arriving to Boulder Creek Golf Club in Belmont, MI on August 25th to play 18 holes in support of The First Tee of West Michigan.
After two successful outings in the previous years, hosting another event was a no brainer. So why The First Tee? Kids + Community + Golf = a perfect fit! The mission of The First Tee of West Michigan is simple: “To impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.” The First Tee aims to teach kids core values like honesty, integrity, respect and confidence in an active way.
We love what The First Tee stands for and so do our amazing sponsors, who demonstrated clear support both leading up to the golf outing with their generous donations and during the event itself with their attendance and sportsmanship.
We make it a priority to give back to the community and are glad to be surrounded by friends and partners who help us do just that. Thanks to the efforts of everyone who came out or donated to the cause, we were able to raise $7,720.58 in support of the First Tee of West Michigan!
Thanks “fore” playing, see you next year!
