Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Tax Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our clients' tax returns, while providing exceptional service and strategic tax planning advice.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of two years in public accounting preparing tax returns
· Bachelors in Accounting
· CPA preferred or actively pursuing
· Excellent communication skills both written and oral
· A demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize and meet defined goals under tight deadlines
· Excellent analytical and organization skills
· A passion for providing outstanding client service
· Positive attitude along with a willingness to learn and improve workflow processes
· Ability to quickly learn tax software applications
Responsibilities:
· Prepare complex corporate, personal, and trust tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and state tax laws and regulations.
· Assist with tax planning
· Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information, explain tax concepts, and answer questions.
· Respond to IRS correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
· Stay up to date on the latest tax laws and regulations through continuing education.
