Alexis Balkema CPA

About

Alexis Balkema joined our firm as an Intern during the 2019 tax season and started as an associate in January 2020. She graduated from GVSU with BBA in Accounting in December 2019 and obtained her CPA in 2022.

Alexis is a Senior Associate at Baker Holtz. She focuses on all things tax! She enjoys working alongside co-workers who are very supportive and in an environment that provides her with everyday challenges.

When Alexis isn’t hard at work, she enjoys traveling and exploring new places and traveling, spending time with her friends and family, and taking her dog, Tipsy for walks.

Alexis is excited to share that she recently got married in 2024!
